So Far in HK

Well, its been awhile since I last posted a blog.

I've been in HK for 2 months now - arrived on the 26th of Feb.
What HAVE I been doing?? - having no friends to go out with.

When I first arrived in HK...it was NON-STOP shopping.
But then after 2 weeks, I bought everything I wanted. Oopsy.

The 7th of March, my cousin's big day. It was an awesome day. Although I had to get up at 5am to start getting ready.... and didn't get home til 1am. Congratuations Hannah & Simon.

Then for a some weeks, I've just been chilling at home, watch taiwanese, japanese, korean series.

But then, on Friday the 26th of March. My mum called in on a radio program. It was so embarrassing. She called up to ask the DJ (who organises a summer camp program (NGUA)), if he'd give me a place in the camp so I can meet more people and give me an opportunity to learn more stuff.... rather then just staying at home all the time.

A week later, I got a called for the DJ asking me to go to an interview for a place in the summer program.

Went to the Radio Station.
Had the interview.
After the interview...He told me to follow him into the Broadcasting Studio.
After that night, I have been helping out nearly everyday. Working hours are extremely long - usually 3pm to 12am.

However, its pretty awesome working at a radio station;
1. Get to see lots of celebrities; I've started making a list of celebrities that I've seen so far...getting close to 50. Woohoo. I've seen people such as Joey Yung, Miriam Yeung, Ivana Wong, Shawn Yue, Kay Tse, Eric Tsang, Mr, FAMA, Hotcha, William Chan, Stephy Tang etc. etc.
2. I've met lots of cool people...woohoo. I have friends in HK now =]

My only problem now is, will I be able to return to UK for 2 weeks???

Hmm...that's all for now.
I will seriously try to post more blogs in the future. Please be patient =]

Goodbye UK

Ever since the flight was booked, I've been looking forward to this day...and its finally here! I'll finally be able to get away from sunny UK and do my own thing. Although I've not actually planned anything to do whilst I'm in HK, and will probably be walking around on my own aimlessly everyday. On one hand, this holiday may sound rubbish and pointless, but on the other hand, it makes it more exciting, I'll be able to explore the city and might just find some unexpected surprises. And obviously experience total freedom, away from my parents. But will I be able to cope without them for 3 months? I mean, they have been in every second of my life so far.

Well, I'm all packed and ready to go. Two suitcases full of souvenirs for family and friends.
